What is Corrugated Plastic?

Corrugated Plastic is called coroplast, corflute, correx, pp corrugated, fluted polypropylene and pp hollow. Coroplast is gotten from a successful brand name, the brand name turns generic name because of the widespread use of the brand. It is registered under the America trademark as Coroplast. A similar product is produced in Australia under the brand name corflute.

 Corrugated plastic is a polypropylene hollow sheet, composed usually of three-layer with two-layer plastic sheeting with a zigzag layer dribbled in between popularly called twin wall plastic. It is a lightweight hollow structure, none toxic, waterproof, highly resistant to environmental conditions like ph, temperature, heat, and corrosion. When compared with cardboard they are nonabsorbent and waterproof. They are the most internationally inexpensive, nonpoisonous plastic that is widely accepted compare with PVC. They can also be recycled but none biodegradable so it mustn’t be left lying in the trash bin.
